Die Einspielung von John Thomas aus dem Jahr 1980 wurde im Oktober 2014 im THS-Studio von Holger Siedler remastert.
Neben der CD wird die Produktion auch in verschiedenen Formaten zum Download angeboten, u.a. bei highresaudio.com als 96Khz/24 bit HiRes-Studiomaster.

In 2014 we remastered the Original Mastertapes from 1982. The new Master is in High-Resolution-Audio Format (96Khz/24bit).Floating, the debut album of Monika Linges in 1982 is a very personal album. Monika Linges who wrote the lyrics to most of the tunes, sings about, childhood and youth.
At the beginning of the 1980`s, Monika Linges was one of the famous female jazz-singer in Germany. She toured with her international band through nearly all European countries, and was invited to several Jazzfestivals, Radio- and TV-shows.
After her early success in Germany in the 1980’s Monika Linges had a revival in the beginning of the 90`s, starting in the London Jazz-Clubs. The DJs digged out her old recordings and played them in the clubs. Her songs later were licensed to several Compilations in England and Asia.
Because of the new demand both LPs of Monika Linges were reissued and released also on CD. Her records now were re-questioned also outside Europe and were successful a.o. in the USA. At that time she also was a guest for a recording of Nobukazu Takemura and the Hipsters in the zone.

Later her recordings were also released in Japan by Celeste.Over the years Monika Linges became the best selling Artist of Nabel!

HiRes-Studiomaster

Wir haben in diesem Jahr damit begonnen einige Produktionen aus dem Backkatalog aufwendig zu remastern und neu zu veröffentlichen.

Ausgangsmaterial ist jeweils das Original Masterband.
Im THS-Studio in Dormagen wurde von Holger Siedler mit HighEnd Analoggeräten und Wandlern der Sound optimiert und als HiRes-Studiomaster in 96Khz, 24bit gespeichert.

Anschließend wurden die Aufnahmen -soweit notwendig- mit digitaler Nachbereitung optimiert.

Bereits zur Midem in Cannes im Februar 2014 haben wir die erste Produktion aus dem Jahr 1982 vorgestellt:

Bis zum Ende des Jahres werden 5 Nabel-Produktionen als HiRes-Download zur Verfügung stehen, einige Titel werden zusätzlich als CD-Neuveröffentlichung erscheinen.

Resound



Peuker8 spielen jungen europäischen Jazz und bringen dabei die Klangfarben der unorthodoxen Besetzung voll zur Geltung.
Die Kompositionen von Paul Peuker verbinden moderne Klassik mit heutiger improvisierter Musik zu einem unverwechselbaren und geheimnisvollen Klangerlebnis.
Im letzten Heft der Jazz Thing war eine ausführliche Besprechung der aktuellen CD, das nächste Jazzpodium (März 2014) bringt einen ganzseitigen Artikel über das Releasekonzert der Band.

Im Herbst wird die neue CD des Ulli Jünemann Quartets bei NABEL veröffentlicht.
